I have a passion for facilitating positive change and empowering individuals on their mental health journey. My clinical experience is rooted in providing support for anxiety and depression, trauma, and substance abuse. I have had the privilege of working with diverse populations, including adults, adolescents, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Drawing from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Mindfulness, I believe in the power of a collaborative counseling process. Each individual is unique, and I am dedicated to tailoring my approach to meet the specific needs of every client.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Central Florida. My ultimate goal is to create a safe and inclusive space where clients can explore their challenges, discover their strengths, and work towards achieving their personal goals. I am a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (FL) under the clinical supervision of Renata Huewitt, LPC-S, LMHC-S, RPT-S, and Kathrina Cann, LMHC
I believe that everyone deserves a space where their authentic self can be seen, valued, and appreciated. Together, we can explore the areas that matter most to you, working at a pace that feels supportive and effective. I draw from person-centered therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to create individualized, evidence-based treatment plans. My experience utilizing Child Centered Play Therapy and other trauma-informed approaches, mindfulness-based interventions, and strength-based strategies allows me to promote healing and growth in clients of all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD, PTSD, and trauma-related symptoms. I have a particular passion for supporting veterans in addressing the psychological and emotional impacts of their experiences, and I am skilled in helping clients process the long-term effects of trauma.
With a Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Central Florida, I am a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern (FL) under clinical supervision. I am committed to providing an inclusive, compassionate therapeutic environment where clients can feel understood and supported. I believe in empowering clients to discover their strengths and find resilience as they work through life’s challenges.
I look forward to creating a therapeutic space with you where you feel safe, heard, and empowered to achieve your goals!
