My vision for therapy is that everyone should have access to connective and individualized care. While embarking the field for almost a decade, my years of experience have focused on a person-centered approach. I have various skills and training to include EMDR Therapy, Trauma-Focused Care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Child Centered and Filial Play Therapy, Adverse Childhood Experiences and Youth Resiliency training, Attachment and trauma, and Suicide Intervention Training. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (Virginia) and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (Florida). I am a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor through the Association of Play Therapy and a Certified EMDR Therapist through the EMDR International Association. I am also a Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) provider and Certified Autplay Therapist.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Developmental Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Education and a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. I not only help motivate and build clients, but I believe in motivating and building therapists as a Licensure Clinical Supervisor, Adjunct Professor, and EMDR Consultant. I believe counseling can be a fun and empowering journey and I am excited to help facilitate that with others!

Peyton Sills, MSW, Registered Social Worker Intern

I believe that everyone deserves a space where their authentic self can be seen, valued, and appreciated. Together, we can explore the areas that matter most to you, working at a pace that feels supportive and effective. I draw from person-centered therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to create individualized, evidence-based treatment plans. My experience utilizing Child Centered Play Therapy and other trauma-informed approaches, mindfulness-based interventions, and strength-based strategies allows me to promote healing and growth in clients of all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD, PTSD, and trauma-related symptoms. I have a particular passion for supporting veterans in addressing the psychological and emotional impacts of their experiences, and I am skilled in helping clients process the long-term effects of trauma.

With a Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Central Florida, I am a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern (FL) under clinical supervision. I am committed to providing an inclusive, compassionate therapeutic environment where clients can feel understood and supported. I believe in empowering clients to discover their strengths and find resilience as they work through life’s challenges.

I look forward to creating a therapeutic space with you where you feel safe, heard, and empowered to achieve your goals!
